Snorkel the Reef has become an annual tradition here at CHTM as we take a day (well half of a day) off and enjoy the refreshing turquoise waters of The Bahamas and the freedom of being at sea.
Students, both and second and third year woke up super early for Stuart Cove’s private transfer to the far west of the island where we boarded Cetacea and headed out into the blue.
It was a choppy day on the water and not surprisingly there were a few seasickness casualties. Otherwise, it was a great morning for a three-stop snorkel trip.
The highlights include numerous species of fish and coral, tons of sea spray, a spin around Nygard Cay and of course the long anticipated encounter with Caribbean Reef sharks.
